2 weeks catching up!

Howdy peeps, Tanmo here!
I have missed a couple of weeks, so here I am catching up!

1st of all here is my 1 layer stamping card:

I stamped THANKS then masked with a post it, then stamped the flower in 2 different colours, filled in the gaps with some orange dots and then added a few gems. Simple!

Secondly, here is my card from the previous week, where we had to use core card. I dont use it very often, but Im pleased with how this card turned out!

Thanks for looking xx

Simple cards.............

from a very snowy Somerset. Well this weeks cards are simple cards we were not allowed to use any embellishments. So i made 3 very simple thank you cards as i have been poorly and not got round to making my Christmas thank you ones yet!

I stamped and image onto some water coloured card and then coloured in using the lovey Tim Holtz
distressed pens, i used worn lipstick and aged mahogany for the flowers and peeled paint for the leaves. I then cut these out and used the distressed ink pad also T Holtz in brushed corduroy around the edge. I layered them on some kraft card and cut out. I stamped my saying straight onto the card and then stuck the image on. Now normally to finish i would have to put some pearls but i think they still look fab without them.
Keep warm. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Sew, Stitch, Patch Journal

Hello everyone, I can not believe it is Friday again, the year is going by so quickly again.
For this weeks project I have made a mini memory album that I have converted into a
Journal for my craft projects. Mine is different from the other twos as I didn't have the
template and had started this one before Christmas but had put it down and didn't pick
it up again until now so made it into the DT project.

I have got the idea of a old post on The Paper Trail blog. I have changed the sizes
slightly to meet my specifications.

For this project I have used:
Have a excellent Weekend :). Much Love Sophie. x

From one 12 x 12 sheet of paper!! .............

Well today is my turn. I made my album the same way as Angie but instead of getting inky i layered paper and stamped a saying on the front of mine and wrapped some twine around. I also made some tags for inside. Just need to find some photo's and do some journaling now. Thanks for looking. Sandra

Mini Booklet!

morning bloggers, hope you all had a lovely christmas, and i`d like to wish you all a happy new year!
this week, we are all making a mini album/booklet!, made with one sheet of 12x12 paper! folded and cut, so you can fold it into a booklet,
Beth will, when shes got time, post how to achieve this, in a pictorial!
hope you like my effort, i`ve made it a bit inky, and added little tags in the pockets i`ve created from the pages, and then used 2 coaster, to act as covers, glued some ribbon, so i can tie a bow to keep it closed,
hope you like it!
love angie xx

Good Morning
Well i hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a very happy new year to you all.
I love to scrapbook and once i start an album I'm on a misson to get it finished, i love it, it's such a great way to keep you photo's and memories away from the attic! Also makes a lovely gift for a special friend or relation. Anyhow on to my page. I used the 12x12 Twill Time paper from Carolyn Holt Designs that can be purchased at Craft n Stamp along with some other gorgeous papers so why not pop in and have a look.I chose the photo's from a trip with my parents to London. I had lots of flowers that matched the papers so i made some frames layering them around the photo's. Some of them i stamped some i left plain, i added my favourite pearls to the centres. I then stamped a little saying. And finally found some large letters to add the words, i like to used different letters when adding a saying and different colours i think it makes the paper look more interesting. Go on have a go it's so easy and very addictive and great fun.

New year, New scrapbook.

Hello everyone to 2013!! Well with the new year here, it means lots of new memories to come, so for my new years resolution I am going to start scrapbooking. I have the paper, the book and all the bits and pieces but I just have never got round to doing it. I have this week started with my first ever page which hopefully will get the ball rolling.

The paper is from Stamp and Craft shop, I have added gems, ribbon and letters. It was a simple one today so anyone can make it.

I love the saying that comes on the paper, it sums up exactly what Lewis means to me :)

Thank you for stopping by. Much Love Sophie x
